All About Shakeology

When I first heard about Shakeology, I was skeptical. I thought to myself, “I will do the workouts everyday and that should be enough.” I was a swimmer my whole life so nutrition was never a big thought in my mind. We ate over 2500 calories each day and lots and lots of pasta. I could eat chips, pretzels, cookies, fast food, and burn it all off, if not more, the next day. After college, when I stopped swimming, I had to break a habit that I developed for over 15 years of my life. I never fully understood what clean eating or nutrition was until I was introduced to Beachbody and Shakeology.

The first program I did was Insanity. I saw the advertisements for Shakeology but never thought it was for me. I work at an ad agency so I don’t usually fall for the infomercials or anything. I also never had any type of shake when I was swimming, at the best shape of my life, so why would I need it now? I thought I could do the workouts and eat healthier, and I would be fine. After 60 days of Insanity, I only lost a few lbs! I may have toned up and gained some of my muscle back but was still not at a weight I was happy with!
